Rob and Sebastian first met at Tokyo National University of Arts and Music in early 2009, sharing a common interest in art and urban space. Out of this grew a series of conversations that led to the development of a collaborative sound project about the city of Tokyo.
'Tokyo Dialogues' is a sound work of field recordings set under a spoken dialogue. The dialogue supports and frames the various audio recordings, while also providing a commentary on the cities sonic structure through an exchange of ideas, personal experiences and convictions.
